We produce a weekly newsletter with the help of some of our older pupils. This keeps everyone in touch with the life of the school. Sports matches are reported, information is passed on and there is a weekly reminder of important events. Menus for the following week are attached.
The School Council
The children are involved in every aspect of school life through our School Council. A termly general election is held to choose a chairperson. Each class also elects a representative for each half term.
Matters, such as which charities to support, lunchtime activities, social events and any areas of concern are discussed.
Squaddies
A squaddie is a playground helper. Children have to apply for the job detailing why they think they will make a responsible squaddie.
These children help the staff on duty, organise playground games and are a point of contact for any children who are upset or lonely.
